Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name (optional), and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
Calculator data: If you use cloud save (Pro or above), your moving plan data is stored on our servers. Free tier data is saved only in your browser's local storage and never transmitted to us.
Quote request forms: When you submit a moving quote request, we collect your name, email, phone number, move date, origin, destination, and home size.
Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.
Usage data: We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics (page views, browser type, device type). No personally identifiable information is shared with analytics providers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To process payments and manage your account
- To send transactional emails (password resets, purchase confirmations, refund notifications)
- To connect you with moving companies when you submit a quote request
- To improve the Service based on anonymous usage patterns
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Stripe: For payment processing
- Supabase: For secure data storage and authentication
- Resend: For transactional email delivery
- Moving companies: Only the information you provide in quote request forms, to connect you with movers in your area
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication. Your data is stored on servers in the United States.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained until you delete your account. When you delete your account, all associated data (plans, profile information) is permanently removed. Quote request data is retained for business purposes.
6. Your Rights
You can:
- Access your data at any time through your account
- Update your profile information
- Export your plan data (Pro and above)
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Request a copy of your data by contacting us
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Google Analytics cookies for anonymous usage statistics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work properly.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
